NFHCA RELEASE

GILBERT, Ariz. – For the 16^th-consecutive year, the LIU Post field hockey team earned the Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic Team Award, as announced by the organization Tuesday.
 
Teams were required to earn a 3.0 GPA or higher in the fall 2018 semester in order to receive the Division II National Academic Team Award and the Pioneers had a 3.11.
 
There are three Division II academic awards still to be announced; on Friday, Mar. 19 the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Academic Squad, on Tuesday, Mar. 26 the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Scholars of Distinction and on Tuesday, Apr. 2. the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Scholar-Athlete.
