2018 SCHEDULE

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Head field hockey coach Raenee Savin released the 2018 schedule for the defending Northeast-10 champion Pioneers June 18.
 
The 18-game schedule features 10 home contests at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium and three 2017 NCAA Tournament opponents.
 
LIU Post opens the season on Thursday, September 6 against West Chester University as part of a two-game set on the home turf. The Green and Gold begin NE10 play against Bentley University on Saturday, September 8 before taking on NCAA semifinalist East Stroudsburg University on the road Wednesday, September 12.
 
Following a pair of NE10 contests against Adelphi University and Southern Connecticut State University, the Pioneers face-off against NCAA quarterfinalist Saint Anselm College at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium Sunday, September 23. LIU Post opens October with a pair of home contests before taking to the road for matchups against Adelphi University and Merrimack College. NE10 play continues the rest of the regular season, as the final 10 matchups of the year will feature conference opponents. The Pioneers take on their final NCAA Tournament opponent in Stonehill College on Saturday, October 27 at W.B. Mason Stadium before returning home against Southern Connecticut State and Assumption College on Tuesday, October 30 and Saturday, November 3. The regular season finale will be a road test at American International College on Friday, November 9.
 
The Pioneers will look to defend their 2017 NE10 title when the postseason begins with the conference quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 13. A champion will be crowned on Sunday, November 18 ahead of the NCAA Division II Tournament selection show the following day. The Division II Championship is slated for November 25-December 1.
