FULL STANDINGS

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships by senior Joe Calderone, LIU Post rose to No. 7 in the country in the first Learfield Director's Cup Rankings of the winter season.
 
The Pioneers qualified two wrestlers for the national championship, as sophomore Anthony Sparacio joined Calderone in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the Division II Tournament. The duo combined to earn the Green and Gold 50.5 points at the event, giving the Pioneers 252.0 points for the academic year.
 
The Pioneers rank No. 1 among East Region schools in the latest ranking, joining Shippensburg University (Pa.) as the only east-coast schools in the top-10 on the national stage.
