RESULTS
NEWARK, N.J. – The LIU Post men's & women's cross county teams competed at the Highlander Challenge Saturday, an event that was highlighted by the Pioneer women finishing fifth of 29 teams.
 
LIU Post's women had 154 points, just one point short of Saint Joseph's College (Long Island) who finished fourth.
 
The Pioneers had three top-20 finishers led by freshman 
Margaret McKeever who clocked in at 19:46.00 seconds to take 17
th of 227 runners in the 5K.  Junior 
Alexandria Okon finished 19
th in 20:02.00 seconds and she was closely followed by freshman 
Anita Mikowski whose time of 20:03.00 seconds saw her take 20
th.
 
Senior 
Kaitie Schillaci took 32
nd in 20:18.00 seconds while also competing was freshman Madison Dubose (22:56.00) and Nicole Imbrogno (26:07.00)
 
The Pioneer men finished 17
th of 31 teams and had 454 points. They were led by junior 
Jeffrey Reyes as he finished 22
nd of 239 runners with a time of 27:17.00 seconds in the 8K.
 
Also running was sophomore Joseph Dorso (31:48.00), senior 
Lance Edwards (33.59.00) and junior 
Justin Ortega (35.31.00).
