BRONX, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's & women's cross country team competed in its second meet of the season Saturday at the Fordham University Fiasco Cross Country Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park. A total of 13 women's teams and 11 men's teams competed at the meet.

The Pioneer women finished first of the five non-Division I teams and ninth overall with 264 points; they were trailed by St. Joseph's College (302), Montclair State University (305), Pace University (335) and the College of Mount Saint Vincent (351).

Freshman Margaret McKeever finished 41st of 124 total runners in the 5000-meter run with a career-best time of 21:01.3 seconds, freshman Anita Mikowski crossed the finish line 21:14.3 seconds to finish 46th and junior Nicolette Agostinacchio took 59th in 21:54.5 seconds. Also racing was senior Kathryn Elnick (22:38.7), junior Alexandria Okon (22:59.2), sophomore Brittany Jenofsky (24:56.5) and freshman Madison Dubose (26:32.3).

On the men's side competing in the 8000-meter run was  sophomore Andrew Gleave (30:28.39), senior John Dehler (31.25.98),  sophomore Joseph Dorso (31.44.33) and junior Justin Ortega (40.59.65).
