Wrestling Ranked No. 19 in Preseason Poll, Calderone No. 1 at 141

FAYETTE, Iowa – The NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association revealed its 2018-19 preseason national poll with the LIU Post Pioneers coming in at No. 19 in the nation as announced on Monday, Oct. 29.
 
The Pioneers garnered 20 points in the national poll which saw 45 teams receive votes. Defending national champion St. Cloud State topped the rankings with 92 total points.
 
Along with the team ranking, the coaches association tabbed graduate student Joe Calderone as the nation's top-ranked wrestler in the 141-pound weight class. Calderone earned his second-career All-America distinction with a fifth-place finish at last season's NCAA Division II Championship. Calderone posted a 32-9 record last season in his return from injury.
