BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – It was a memorable Senior Day for LIU Post men's soccer as the Pioneers rolled past Daemen College, 4-0 to improve to 10-4 on the season and 6-2 in East Coast Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 20.
It was a dominating performance for LIU Post who outshot Daemen, 31-4 on the afternoon including a staggering 19-0 advantage in shots on goal. Graduate student
Lukas Ostermann recorded his seventh multi-goal game of the season with two goals during the first half. Senior

Atha Coutroumpas added the final goal for his second of the season for the Pioneers.
Prior to kickoff, the Pioneers honored graduating members Ostermann, Chavez,
Vittorio Argeri,

Kevin Lamm. The group of seniors have helped the Pioneers to a 60-9-6 record over the past four seasons.
Hessner Hansen earned the win in goal with his fifth shutout of the season. Ryan Moretta made a career-high 15 saves for the Wildcats during the loss.
Ostermann put the Pioneers on the board with a penalty kick conversion during the eighth minute to kickstart the momentum on the home pitch. 20 minutes later it was Ostermann again who corralled a long punt from Hessner Hansen and deposited a shot in the lower left corner of the frame for his league-leading 20th goal of the season. The Pioneers continued to roll five minutes later when Chavez took a pass from Argeri and blasted a shot over Moretta from 35-yards out to give LIU Post a 3-0 advantage at the halftime break.
The final tally of the day came during the 52nd minute when Coutroumpas headed home a cross from junior
