INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 6, 2017) - The National Collegiate Athletic Association released the six-team field for the 2017 NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship on Monday, and LIU Post garnered the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.

LIU Post, which receives a first-round bye, will face either fourth-seeded Saint Anselm or fifth-seeded Millersville in a national semifinal match-up on Friday, Nov. 17 at Bellarmine's Owsley B. Frazier Stadium.

LIU Post is earning its fourth bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament in the last five years. The Pioneers' last three appearances culminated in a trip to the national championship game.
