CHANDLER, Ariz. (Mar. 21, 2016) - The LIU Post field hockey team was recognized for its academic accomplishments Monday, earning the 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Academic Team Award.

The Pioneers boasted a grade-point average of 3.35 in the Fall 2015 semester to receive the honor. It marked the eighth-consecutive season that the green and gold were bestowed this recognition.

In order to qualify, a team must have achieved a 3.0 GPA or better. A total of 27 programs met the mark at the Division II level.
