OAKDALE, N.J. (Nov. 12, 2016) - On Saturday, the LIU Post women's bowling team returned to the lanes at Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Meet #2, held at the Holiday Bowl in Oakdale.

Freshman Brielle Spillett (Yaphank, N.Y.) led the Pioneers (2-10) with a high series of 1,004. Her high game on the day was a 195 against Franklin Pierce.

In addition, Spillett and senior Stefania Cuomo (Valley Stream, N.Y.), who bowled a 900 series, each won four match points for the green and gold.

Freshman Vickie Lewis (Patchogue, N.Y.) averaged a 141 in the six games, en route to rolling an 850 series.

Head Coach Edward Raven and the Pioneers are back in action next Sunday (Nov. 20), when they compete at Eastern Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Meet #3 in Wallingford, Conn.
