CHANDLER, Ariz. (Oct. 25, 2016) - The LIU Post field hockey team has vaulted to No. 6 in the latest Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Tuesday.
Last week, the Pioneers earned a pair of 3-1 victories over Pace and American International to improve to 11-3 overall and 7-3 in Northeast-10 Conference play.
Sophomore forward/midfielder
Emily Miller (Bridgewater, N.J.) tallied a hat trick last Wednesday (Oct. 19) at Pace. Her efforts won her a third NE-10 Player of the Week honor.
Then, on Saturday (Oct. 22), freshman midfielder
Arantxa Rosainz Caloca (Guadalajara, Mexico) provided two goals and an assist in the win at AIC.
East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg flip-flopped at No. 1 and No. 2 in the poll, respectively. Saint Anselm, Millersville and Stonehill all individually remained at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5.

Raenee Savin and her LIU Post squad are back in action today, when they face NE-10 rival Bentley University at 4 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y.
