Kathy Renton is in 20th year at LIU Post. During her time with the Pioneers, she played a key role in the development of the new auxiliary training room in the Pratt Recreation Center.

Prior to her arrival, Renton graduated from the University of Delaware, where she worked with a number of athletic teams, including the Blue Hens football and wrestling squads. Following graduation with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education with an athletic training concentration, Kathy was employed as head athletic trainer at the Medical Center of Delaware-Schwietzers Physical Therapy and Middletown High School in Middletown, Del. After two years of service, she taught at West Mecklenburg High School, in Charlotte, N.C., and served as head athletic trainer at the school for three years.

Renton is an active member of both the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association. She earned her bachelor's degree in health and physical education with an athletic training concentration from the University of Delaware, and she currently resides in Bellmore, N.Y.
