Patrick Williams - 2018 - LIU Post
2018:
- Named to the Academic All-Conference squad
- Started all 11 games, ranking sixth on the team with 51 total tackles
- Made his season debut with six tackles and one pass breakup against American International
- Posted a season-high seven tackles, including one tackle for loss against Bentley
- Recorded one sack at Merrimack
- Picked off a pass at Shippensburg
- Recorded six takedowns during the NE10 championship game against New Haven
- Also recorded six stops during the NCAA first round game against Slippery Rock.
2017:
- Played in all 10 games this season for the Pioneers
- Finished fourth on the team in tackles with 44, 22 solo, 22 assisted, 2.0 tackles for loss and one sack
- Had a season-high five tackles in the season-opener against Virginia Union (Sept. 2)
- Added three solo tackles, one assisted tackle and one interception against Merrimack (Nov. 4)
- Notched four solo tackles, one assisted tackle and one sack against Southern Connecticut State (Oct. 14).
2016:
- Appeared in seven contests
- Made one tackle on special teams in a 43-23 win versus Assumption in the NE-10 Championship (Nov. 12).
2015:
- Played in three games
- Amassed eight tackles (five solo, three assist) and a sack in a 40-31 win over Assumption (Sept. 12)
- Recovered a fumble in a 24-21 win at Saint Anselm (Sept. 19).
2014:
Prior to LIU Post:
- Three-year varsity player for Tony Mascia at Holy Trinity High School
- Also a four-year varsity wrestler
- Was All-League and a Scholar-Athlete nominee in both sports.
Personal:
- Youngest of four children, with two older brothers and one older sister
- Older brothers, Thomas and Mike, both played football at LIU Post
- Lists Ray Lewis and Luke Kuechly as his favorite athletes
- Enjoys playing basketball
- Majoring in finance.
