2007:
  NCBWA Honorable Mention All-America selection….ABCA/Rawlings All-Region second-team…Daktronics All-Region first-team…All-East Coast conference second-team…set the school single-season record with 82 hits… led the team with a .402 batting average, 17 doubles, six home runs, 51 RBI, and a .593 slugging percentage…hit safely in all but four contests on the year, and ended the season on a nine-game hitting streak… posted multiple-RBI performances in 12 games, and multi-hit games on 27 occasions.
 
2006: Played in 39 games … connected for 48 hits and kept a .343 batting average.
 
2005: Saw action in 16 games … recorded four runs batted in on four hits.
 
Before C.W. Post: Played two years of varsity high school baseball at Holy Cross in Flushing, N.Y… he batted .350 his senior year and was also named the team’s Most Valuable Player … he also was a standout basketball player and earned MVP honors his senior year.
 
Personal: Son of Thomas and Nancy Mare … has a sister, Elizabeth, and a brother, Steven … majoring in psychology.
