2016-17: Placed ninth in shot put with a throw of 11.34 in the Artie O'Connor Meet (Feb. 17). 

Prior to LIU Post: Competed for the varsity track and field team at Passaic Tech High School ... helped the Bulldogs to three-straight Big North Liberty Division Championships ... also played football.

Personal: Has two siblings, Jasmine and Chavi ... son of Kurt and Jada Lassiter ... enjoys drawing, weightlifting and basketball ... his favorite athlete is Ray Lewis ... the person he admires most is his father ... aspires to play in the NFL or open his own business ... currently undecided on a major.
