GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) announced its weekly awards Wednesday and junior
Brianna Feldman of the No. 8/12 LIU Post women's lacrosse team was named Division II National Offensive Player of the Week.
Feldman had a dominant week, accumulating 14 goals, three draw controls, one assist and one caused turnover. She led LIU Post with seven goals in both of its wins and scored the game-winner and the 100th goal of her career against the University of New Haven on Tuesday, April 16 at Kathy Zolad Stadium.
Two other Pioneers have garnered IWLCA national weekly honors this season; junior
Angela Deren was tabbed as National Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, April 10 and freshman
Hailey Duchnowski being named National Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, April 3.
Feldman and the Pioneers will be in action next on Saturday, April 27 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 11 a.m. against Roberts Wesleyan College (11-4, 4-3)
