Women’s Lacrosse Checks in at No. 9/15 in National Polls

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. –
The LIU Post women's lacrosse team checked in at No. 9/15 in the national polls, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and U.S. Lacrosse Magazine Monday.
 
The Pioneers checked in at No. 9 in the IWLCA poll and No. 15 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine poll.
 
In their only game last week, the Pioneers suffered an 8-7 setback in overtime to the No. 24 New York Institute of Technology on Saturday, April 13 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium. Junior Paige Sherlock led LIU Post with three goals and four draw controls while freshman goalkeeper Hailey Duchnowski finished with 15 saves.
