CLARION, Pa. - The Don Hansen Football Gazette announced redshirt-senior Chris Coles as a Division II All-American as part of the national release on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
 
Coles continues to add to his postseason resume after garnering Division II Conference Coaches Association and Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Region honoree as well as the Northeast-10 Conference's Offensive Lineman of the Year earlier this season.
 
A senior captain on the 2018 squad, Coles started all 11 games at left tackle for the Pioneers. Coles helped anchor an offensive line that led the Green and Gold to the 15th-best rushing offense in the country this season, averaging over 102 yards per game on the ground.
 
LIU Post garnered two All-Americans this season, as Coles joins graduate student Kevin Petit-Frere who earned Associated Press All-America accolades.
