NEW YORK – Six members of the LIU Post men's & women's track & field teams posted season-best marks Friday at the Gotham Cup inside the Armory.
 
On the women's side four Pioneers earned season-best times; sophomore Kathryn Ginty (8.40) in the 60-meters, sophomore Jacqueline Ginty (26.71) in the 200-meters, senior Kaitie Schillaci (3:14.54) in the 1000-meters and freshman Margaret McKeever (3:33.15) in the 1000-meters.
 
Junior Alexandria Okon's time of 58.22 in the 400-meters was also a personal-best.
 
The Pioneer women also clocked in at 9:52.6 seconds in the 4x800-meter relay to finish fifth; the quartet consisted of Okon (2:18.3), sophomore Nataly Ramirez (2:31.2), senior Schillaci (2:33.2) and junior Nicolette Agostinacchio (2:29.9).
 
On the men's side, sophomore Andrew Gleave clocked in at a season-best (10:00.38) in the 3000-meters and freshman DeAndre Smith cleared a season-best 6'4.5'' in the high jump.

The Pioneers compete at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 in Staten Island, New York, at the Metropolitan Championships inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
