Ostermann Adds First Team Scholar All-American Accolades

COMPLETE SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – Graduate student Lukas Ostermann continued to accumulate postseason awards on Monday, as the United Soccer Coaches announced him as a first team Scholar All-American as part of the national announcement.
 
Ostermann is one of three players from the East Region to earn the distinction, joining West Chester University's Kyle Hoops as the only other first team honoree.
 
The Scholar All-America award combines a student-athletes academic and athletic achievements, with eligible candidates earning at least a 3.30 grade-point average.
 
Ostermann boasts a 3.61 undergraduate GPA, while also excelling in the Master's in Business Administration program at LIU Post. Earlier this season the United Soccer Coaches and Division II Conference Commissioner's Association tabbed him as a consensus All-American after finishing second in Division II with 23 goals and 52 points.
