BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jan. 11, 2018) - The LIU Post women's lacrosse team has been ranked at No. 6 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Preseason Top-20 Poll, announced Thursday.

The Pioneers, who placed fifth in the final Nike/US Lacrosse rankings of 2017, lead the four programs from the East Coast Conference to be included in the ledger.

Rival Adelphi topped the preseason tally, with Florida Southern following at No. 2. Lindenwood and Queens (N.C) rounded out the Top-5 of the poll.

Head Coach Meghan McNamara and her LIU Post squad open the 2018 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 24, when they host Southern New Hampshire University at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 11 A.M..
