PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 1, 2017) - This past weekend, the LIU Post men's and women's outdoor track and field teams ran at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
For the men, the team of senior 
Stefan Adams (Jamaica, N.Y.), red-shirt junior 
Kyle Ward (Elizabeth, N.J.), sophomore 
Jermaine Ifill (Jamaica, N.Y.) and freshman 
Jeffrey Reyes (Bay Shore, N.Y.) placed third at 3:17.63 in the 4 x 400-meter relay.
Their impressive showing was six seconds faster than their finish at the East Coast Conference Championships and qualified them for the finals of the IC4A Championships next week in Princeton, N.J.
Meanwhile, the women's team of graduate 
Ashlin Conroy (Syosset, N.Y.), junior 
Talya Williams (Schenectady, N.Y.) and freshmen 
Nicolette Agostinacchio (Wantagh, N.Y.) and 
Alexandria Okon (Laurel, Md.) came in fifth at 4:07.40 in the 4 x 400-meter relay.
Head Coach 
Kevin Buckley and the Pioneers return to action next weekend (May 12-13), when they wrap up the 2017 campaign at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Princeton.
