NEW CASTLE, Del. (May 15, 2017) - Sophomore catcher Julia Seader (Piscataway, N.J.) of the LIU Post softball team has been named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioner's Association All-East Region Second Team, it was announced Monday.

It is the second time in as many years that Seader was chosen to the D2CCA All-Region Team. She was one of just eight players from the ECC to be recognized on the ledger.

This past season, Seader batted a team-high .407 with 12 home runs and an East Coast Conference-leading 49 RBIs. She also paced the Pioneers with a .718 slugging and .448 on-base percentage.

In addition, Seader led the league in runs scored (40), hits (72), doubles (15), total bases (127) and slugging percentage, en route to being selected as the ECC Player of the Year.
