LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 11, 2017) - On Wednesday, LIU Post softball sophomore catcher
Julia Seader (Piscataway, N.J.) added to her postseason honors with a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-East Region second-team nod.
Seader, who was tabbed as the 2017 East Coast Conference Player of the Year, led the Pioneers to an appearance in the ECC Championship final, after batting .407 with 12 homers and 49 runs batted in.
She also carried a .718 slugging and .448 on-base percentage this season, and reached base safely in 30 consecutive games from Mar. 9 to Apr. 18.
Additionally, Seader paced the ECC in runs scored (40), hits (72), doubles (15), RBIs, total bases (127) and slugging percentage, and ranked second amongst the league's leaders in batting average and home runs.
