WEST CHESTER, Pa. (Apr. 10, 2017) - On Monday, the LIU Post women's golf team came in ninth out of 12 teams at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester University at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester.

The Pioneers shot a 386 in Sunday's opening round and followed that up with a 371 for a two-day score of 737.

Graduate Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) led the green and gold with a 33-over 175, which was good for a 23rd-place finish.

Freshman Shannon Fox (Holbrook, N.Y.) followed in a tie for 29th place, carding a 181.

Sophomore Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) came in 35th with a 45-over 187, while fellow sophomore Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) tied for 40th with a two-day score of 194.

Head Coach Craig Maerki and his LIU Post squad return to the links from Apr. 22-23, when they wrap up the 2016-17 campaign at the Williams Spring Invitational in Williamstown, Mass.
