BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Mar. 11, 2017)
- On Saturday, the LIU Post women's swimming team wrapped up competition at the 2017 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships at the CrossPlex in Birmingham.

Sophomore Karis Fuller (London, England) finished 10th in the 200-yard backstroke with a personal-best 2:00.17. Her time was just 11 milliseconds short of winning the consolation final.

Meanwhile, in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the team of junior Laura Bendfeldt (Grosshansdorf, Germany), sophomore Caitlin Johnstone (Ashburton, New Zealand), freshman Tove Sparrman (Upplands Väsby, Sweden) clocked a 3:28.09 in the preliminaries.
