Brookville, NY|  LIU Post women's volleyball head coach Amanda Ostapow announced the first member of the class of 2022  on Friday. Sarah Mangan signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Pioneers next fall.

"Our coaching staff is very excited to have her join our program," said Ostapow.

Last season, Mangan was amongst the leaders on Long Island in total blocks and aces. After a stellar senior season, Mangan was named League One Player of the Year and appeared on the All-County Team and All-County Tournament Team. For her efforts in the classroom she was also named to the All-County Academic Team.

Additionally, she has made a strong presence as a middle blocker in her club team. LIU Post's new addition is a three-time Garden Empire Volleyball Association High Performance Player. She is also a two-time member of the USA High Performance Team and was named Under Armour All-American Phenom in back-to-back years.
