Brookville, NY | For the fifth time in six years, the LIU Post women's volleyball team heads back to the NCAA Championship Tournament in a season that saw the Pioneers capture their first-ever ECC co-regular season title and received the highest regional ranking in program history (No.1). The Pioneers are now slated to play No. 6 American International College on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the University of New Haven in West Haven, Conn.
The Pioneers, who have defeated five of the teams in the east regional tournament, will travel to top-seeded University of New Haven. LIU Post faced AIC on Sept. 30, where they side took a 3-0 win over the Yellow Jackets.
LIU Post's team standouts include senior libero
Indira Rojas, who is second in the conference in digs; top-ranked blocks leader junior Leah Brady; and junior
Rachel Londot, ranked third in the conference in kills.
