MANSFIELD, Mass. (Sept. 19, 2016) - For the second-straight week, LIU Post football senior quarterback
Jeff Kidd (Salem, Ore.) was recognized as the Northeast-10 Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Kidd completed 21-of-26 passes Saturday for 309 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-20 rout of Stonehill. He also rushed for a game-high 98 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
For Kidd, it was his fourth career and second-consecutive 300-yard passing game. Additionally, he connected with seven different Pioneer receivers and averaged 12.2 yards per carry.
Through three games, Kidd currently leads the NE-10 in completion percentage (67.7) and passing touchdowns (8). His 751 passing yards are second-most in the league.
Kidd and the Pioneers are back at it Saturday (Sept. 24), when they host Bentley University in an NE-10 clash at 1 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y.
