Kwok's Qualifying Time Trial Swim Video
EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (Jun. 21, 2016) - On Saturday, LIU Post women's swimming standout
Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) started her Olympic quest, clocking a qualifying time for the United States Olympic Trials in the 100-meter butterfly at the Eisenhower Park Aquatic Center.
Kwok, a two-time NCAA Division II National Champion and four-time All-American in the 200-yard butterfly, swam a 1:01.15 in the 100-meter event, eclipsing the qualifying standard by four milliseconds.

Michael Travers. "This is a culmination of four terrific years and a groundbreaking step in a start to her professional career."
In her four seasons as a Pioneer, Kwok raced to 21 All-America selections. She also currently holds seven school records (two individual, five relay) and one LIU Post pool record.
The U.S. Olympic Trials will be held at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb. The preliminary heats for the 100-meter butterfly are slated to begin on Sunday, Jun. 26 at 10 a.m.
The finals will then take place on Monday, Jun. 27 at 6:45 p.m., with the top two finishers qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Sunday's preliminaries and semifinals will be carried on NBC Sports Network, while Monday's finals are set to be aired live from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on NBC.
