FLEETWOOD, Pa. (Apr. 17, 2016) - On Saturday, the LIU Post women's golf team placed third out of five squads at the Kutztown University Spring Invitational, held at the Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood.

Freshman Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C) and junior Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) led the Pioneers, finishing in a tie for ninth place, shooting a plus-19 89.

Freshman Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) and senior Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring for the green and gold. Schaefer carded an 11th-place score of 91, while Pohalski's 93 tied her for 13th.

Head Coach Tom Kane and the Pioneers wrap up their spring schedule on Sunday (Apr. 17), when they head to Stroudsburg to participate in the East Stroudsburg University Spring Invitational.
