EXTON, Pa. (Apr. 12, 2016) - On Monday, the LIU Post women's golf team shot its way to a 10th-place finish at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational, hosted by West Chester University at the Whitford Country Club.
The Pioneers carded a combined score of 757 at the two-day invite, tallying a 383 in the opening round and a 374 on the final 18 holes.
Senior
Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) and freshman
Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) led the green and gold on the course, tying for 33rd place with a 41-over 185.
Freshman
Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) recorded a 193, which was good for 49th place. Junior
Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) followed in 50th with a 194.

Tom Kane and his LIU Post squad return to action Saturday (Apr. 16), when they compete at the Kutztown University Spring Invitational at 1:30 p.m. in Fleetwood.
