BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Dec. 7, 2016) - On Sunday, the LIU Post cheerleading team will hold an open tryout for its 2017 competition team from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Pratt Recreation Center.

Last year, the Pioneers performed to a program-best second-place finish at the National Cheerleading Association College Championships in the Intermediate Small Co-Ed Division II category.

The green and gold came up just four-tenths of a point shy of hoisting its first-ever national title in only their second appearance at the event.
