DANBURY, Conn. (Nov. 30, 2016) - On Wednesday, LIU Post women's soccer senior back Kristin Brandman (East Northport, N.Y.) was recognized to the 2016 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II All-Star First Team.

Brandman was only one of 11 student-athletes to be selected to the ECAC All-Star Team. She closed out an outstanding career in helping the Pioneers to three-straight NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.

In 2016, Brandman led a defensive unit that limited the opposition to the fewest goals allowed (12) in the East Coast Conference. Her play has earned her All-ECC and D2CCA All-East Region first-team honors, as well.
