INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 7, 2016) - On Monday night, the LIU Post women's soccer team earned its third-consecutive berth to the NCAA Division II Championship, claiming the No. 3 seed in the East Region.

The Pioneers will face sixth-seeded Caldwell University in a first-round match-up Friday (Nov. 11) at 2 p.m. at Adelphi University's Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y.

The two squads faced off in the regular season on Monday, Oct. 10 at Pioneer Soccer Park. A three-goal first-half outburst propelled LIU Post to a 4-0 victory.

The winner of that contest will face No. 2 seed Adelphi on Sunday (Nov. 13) for the right to advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament at the highest remaining seed in the Atlantic Region.
