WACO, Texas (Nov. 7, 2016) - Following Saturday's blowout win at Merrimack, the LIU Post football team stood pat at No. 10 in the American Football Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Monday afternoon.
The Pioneers (10-0, 9-0 NE-10) defeated the Warriors, 64-7, to complete its first unbeaten regular season since 2002.
The green and gold amassed a season-high 534 yards (340 passing, 194 rushing) of total offense in the contest. Senior quarterback
Jeff Kidd (Salem, Ore.) threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns in his return from injury.
Freshman defensive back
Joshua Flowers (Mount Laurel, N.J.), who was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, made three tackles (two solo, one assist) and recorded a pair of interceptions.
Northwest Missouri State stayed atop the poll, earning 750 points and 30 first-place votes. Grand Valley State, Shepherd, Sioux Falls and Harding continued to hold their ground to round out the Top-5.

Bryan Collins and the Pioneers return to action Saturday (Nov. 12), when they face No. 15 Assumption College in the 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y. Kickoff is set for noon.
