BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 29, 2016) - LIU Post Head Women's Basketball Coach Deirdre Moore announced Friday the signing of Natalie Hickman (Floral Park, N.Y.) to a National Letter of Intent.

Hickman, who will join the Pioneers in the 2017-18 season, is a five-year varsity starter and two-year team captain at Floral Park Memorial High School. As a junior, she averaged a near double-double, posting clips of 9.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

Hickman's efforts helped the Knights to a Nassau County and Long Island title in 2016, and a runner-up finish at the New York State Class A Championship.

"Natalie is a great person and a talented basketball player," Moore said. "She can score, both on the perimeter and the block. Her passing ability, along with her shooting touch, will help open the floor for us."

Moore later added: "I am really excited to have Natalie join our LIU Post family. We are expecting her to be able to step in and contribute right away."
