BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 18, 2016) - Senior back Kristin Brandman (East Northport, N.Y.) of the LIU Post women's soccer team was recently selected to the 2016 Division 2 Conference Commissioner's Association All-East Region First Team.

It marks the second-straight year that Brandman has been tabbed as a first-team selection. She has also earned D2CCA All-East Region honors in three of her four seasons with the Pioneers.

In 2016, Brandman led a defensive unit that yielded the fewest goals (12) of any team in the East Coast Conference. That included an eight-game stretch of not allowing a goal from Oct. 10 to Nov. 2.

Furthermore, Brandman's efforts helped the green and gold to a third-consecutive appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
