FLEETWOOD, Pa. (Oct. 3, 2016) - Thie LIU Post women's golf team came in fourth at the Kutztown University Fall Invitational, hosted at Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood.

The Pioneers shot a 337 in the opening round and followed that up with a 350 on Day Two for a final score of 687.

Graduate Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.), who posted the fourth-lowest score (79) in the latter 18 holes of play, led the Pioneers with a sixth-place finish (162).

Sophomore Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) tied for 12th, carding a 172. Fellow sophomore Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) shot a 174, en route to a 15th-place showing.

Senior Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) finished 21st (179), while freshman Shannon Fox (Holbrook, N.Y.) tied for 31st with a score of 191.

Head Coach Craig Maerki and his LIU Post squad return to the links on Monday, Oct. 17, when they play in the Big Apple Lady Invitational at Elmwood Country Club in White Plains, N.Y.
