CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 18, 2016) - After putting down a match-best 17 kills last Friday, LIU Post volleyball middle/right-side hitter Lea Brady (Woodbridge, Va.) was selected as the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.

In addition to her 17-kill performance, Brady hit at a stellar .552 clip to help the Pioneers to a 3-2 win against Saint Anselm. She had three blocks and a pair of digs in the victory, as well.

Brady currently ranks second on the team in blocks (37) and attack percentage (.206) and fourth in kills (97) this year. Her 37 blocks are also tied for ninth-most in the ECC.

Brady and the Pioneers return to action tonight, when they host University of Bridgeport in an ECC showdown at the Pratt Recreation Center at 7 p.m. in Brookville.
