AMHERST, N.Y. (Oct. 16, 2016) - An 83rd-minute goal from sophomore forward
Andrea Huntzinger (Stockholm, Sweden) propelled the LIU Post women's soccer team to a 1-0 win versus Daemen College in East Coast Conference action Sunday at Sweet Home Stadium.
The tally was Huntzinger's third game-winner of 2016, all of which have come in the final 15 minutes of regulation. Her three game-winners are also tied for second-most in the East Coast Conference.
Huntzinger flicked a shot over Daemen (4-8-2, 1-5-1 ECC) sophomore goalie Jackie Wescott (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) from the middle of the 18-yard box to break the scoreless tie with 7:41 left.
The Pioneers (9-2-2, 3-1-1 ECC) dominated the match, outshooting the Wildcats by a 23-7 count. The visitors also held the opposition without a shot in the opening 45 minutes.

Hillevi Eklow (Väröbacka, Sweden) made four saves for LIU Post. Wescott turned aside eight shots for Daemen.
