KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 29, 2015) - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced the latest Top-25 rankings for Division II, and the LIU Post men's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 17 in Tuesday's poll.
The Pioneers (6-1-1, 3-0 ECC) went 2-0 in East Coast Conference play last week, defeating University of the District of Columbia, 2-1, in overtime, before taking down Queens College, 2-0.

Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway) and junior forward
Johann Kristjansson (Reykjavik, Iceland) each tallied three points (1 goal, 1 assist) in the two games combined. Sophomore forward
Jason Lampkin (Hawardon, North Wales, U.K.) and freshman forward
Charlie Ledula (London, England) scored a goal apiece.
University of Charleston and Midwestern State University remained at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Pfeiffer University, Southern New Hampshire University and Palm Beach Atlantic University rounded out the Top-5.
LIU Post is back in action on Wednesday (Sept. 30), when it hosts Philadelphia University in a non-conference match at Pioneer Soccer Park at 3 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.
