BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Mar. 9, 2015) - On Sunday afternoon, LIU Post men's basketball senior forward Tyuan Williams (Newark, N.J.) was selected to the East Coast Conference All-Tournament Team.

In the Pioneers' two postseason contests last week, Williams, who earned All-ECC second-team praise, averaged 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He also shot 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from the floor and was a perfect 3-of-3 at the line.

The Newark native posted a double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds) in the team's 68-60 first-round win over Molloy (Mar. 4). Williams followed that up with an 11-point, eight-rebound performance versus St. Thomas Aquinas in the semifinal round.

During his final season in a green and gold uniform, Williams averaged a career-high 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. He ranked fifth in the ECC in rebound average and field-goal percentage (.521), and 10th in scoring average and free-throw percentage (.772).
