Greg Dotson (Abington, Pa.) got the run going with a one-handed slam. Senior forward

The Purple Knights (15-5, 11-2 ECC) answered back though in the last 4:29. A 15-2 streak in the closing minutes, led by an eight-point effort from Devon Elliott (Brooklyn, N.Y.), sent UB into the break ahead 31-26.
In the latter stanza, Bridgeport drained the period's first basket to extend its lead to seven points, but LIU Post rallied with an 11-4 run to tie the score (37-37) at the 13-minute mark. Three different players hit lay-ups in the burst, while junior guard
