ELKTON, Md. (Oct. 12, 2015) - On Monday, the LIU Post women's golf team completed the program's first-ever tournament win, placing first in the Revolutionary Collegiate Golf Classic, hosted by Ursinus College at Patriots Glen National Golf Club.
Senior
Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.) finished first overall, shooting a 159 (+15) in her two rounds. Pohalski defeated Morgan Wirtz of Stevenson on the first playoff hole to earn her first-place spot.
Junior
Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) carded a sixth-place 166 (+22), while
freshman Abby Snidemiller (Apex, N.C.) tied for seventh, after shooting a two-day score of 168 (+24).Freshmen
Alanna Jones (Syracuse, N.Y.) and
Natalia Schaefer (St. James, N.Y.) were 10th and 12th, respectively.
Graduate
Nokkie Koonvisal (Bangkok, Thailand) rounded out the scoring for the Pioneers, finishing tied for 24th.
