CORTLAND, N.Y. (Sept. 29, 2014) - Over the weekend, the LIU Post women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its inaugural season with a sixth-place finish at the Martin/Wallace Invitational, held at Cortland Country Club.

The Pioneers were led by junior Hannah Pohalski (Huntington, N.Y.), who set the program's new 18- and 36-hole records by shooting an 86 on Day One and an 83 on Day Two. Overall, the junior tied for 17th out of 52 golfers.

Sophomore Shelby Townsend (Panora, Iowa) scored an 88 in the first round and an 87 in the second round. Senior Nicole Przonek (Glen Head, N.Y.) shot a 95 and a 91 in the two rounds, respectively. Junior Nokkie Koonvisal (Bangkok, Thailand) rounded out the LIU Post scorecard with a 96 and 102.
