Margiotta Tabbed Northeast-10 Player of the Week
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 29, 2014) - Following a hat trick performance and a pivotal No. 7 LIU Post field hockey victory, junior forward
Keliann Margiotta (Sewell, N.J.) received Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week recognition, as announced by the league office on Monday. It is the second time this season that Margiotta has claimed the honor.
Last Tuesday (Sept. 23), the Pioneers bested No. 5 East Stroudsburg, 4-1. Margiotta's offensive strike found the back of the cage three times, increasing her 2014 totals to 11 goals and two assists for 24 points. The Sewell native also boasts a .667 shot-on-goal percentage with 20 attempts on net. She accounts for all three of LIU Post's game-winning tallies.
