Kwok Repeats as 200-Yard Butterfly National Champion!!!

GENEVA, Ohio (Mar. 14, 2014) - On Friday, LIU Post sophomore
Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) repeated as National Champion in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championships, held at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
She swam to a new school record of 1:58.91, just barely besting her previous top time of 1:59.50, set at the Metropolitan Championships on Feb. 17.
Also establishing a new Pioneer record was senior
Tamara Garriock (Duncan, British Columbia, Canada). She raced to a 10th-place finish (1:03.35) in the 100-yard breaststroke, knocking four-hundredths of a second off her previous record.
Notching the fourth-best all-time Pioneer mark in the 800-yard freestyle relay, Garriock, juniors
Courtney Delehanty (Oceanport, N.J.) and
Carolin Rademacher (Isernhagen, Germany), and sophomore
Marthe Soerensen (Stavanger, Norway) combined to post a 7:41.93 clocking and an 18th-best finish.
