GENEVA, Ohio (Mar. 14, 2014) - On Friday, LIU Post sophomore Joyce Kwok (Middle Village, N.Y.) repeated as National Champion in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championships, held at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

She swam to a new school record of 1:58.91, just barely besting her previous top time of 1:59.50, set at the Metropolitan Championships on Feb. 17.

Also establishing a new Pioneer record was senior Tamara Garriock (Duncan, British Columbia, Canada). She raced to a 10th-place finish (1:03.35) in the 100-yard breaststroke, knocking four-hundredths of a second off her previous record.

Notching the fourth-best all-time Pioneer mark in the 800-yard freestyle relay, Garriock, juniors Courtney Delehanty (Oceanport, N.J.) and Carolin Rademacher (Isernhagen, Germany), and sophomore Marthe Soerensen (Stavanger, Norway) combined to post a 7:41.93 clocking and an 18th-best finish.

The Pioneers remain in 12th place after Day Three of the Championships with 92 points. Drury tops the competition with 358 total points. For live results of each day's events, click here.
