Women's Swimming Slotted Sixth in CSCAA Division II Poll

NORFOLK, Va. (Nov. 14, 2014) - On Friday afternoon, the LIU Post women's swimming team placed sixth in the initial CSCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Top-25 Poll of 2014-15.

The No. 6 national ranking comes after the Pioneers claimed victories against Bridgeport (Oct. 26, 117-82), East Stroudsburg (Nov. 1, 125-102) and Kutztown (Nov. 8, 132-110).

This season, the green and gold have posted seven NCAA "B" cut times in various events, and another provisional qualifying time in the 200-yard medley relay.

Head Coach Maureen Travers and her LIU Post squad are back in action Friday (Nov. 14), when they face Fordham in Bronx, N.Y. at 6 p.m.
