NCAA Official Release

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2014) - The LIU Post women's soccer team is headed to the NCAA Division II Championship, as announced in a selection show on NCAA.com Monday night.
 
The Pioneers (14-2-1), who are the fifth seed in the East Region, will travel to Albany, N.Y. to face fourth-seeded Assumption (15-4-1) on Friday (Nov. 14). The winner of that contest will face No. 1 seed and host Saint Rose (18-1-2).
 
This will be the Pioneers' first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2011, when LIU Post fell to Dowling in opening-round action.
